Interrupting my NYC reviews for some Columbus Roots love.🌿 It's no secret when I travel, I eat out a lot (and on weekends) but during the week I try to always prepare my own meals for both health and financial reasons🤣 #balance Sometimes life gets super busy, and it's just impossible. We gained 24 new residents this week at Sunrise and lost one.💔 I spent way more time in Marysville than I had planned. Roots is one of those places that makes very healthy food, both convenient and AFFORDABLE. It's my go-to when I'm lacking time, but need to eat healthy.

Every signature bowl can be made vegan, and substitutions have no additional charge. If you order tofu or mushrooms, they actually take money off. The Corner Cobb has a base of Arcadian lettuce, forbidden rice, and topped with charred corn, red onion, sweet potato, cucumber, cabbage and half an avocado. It also comes with egg, but I just swapped with double sweet potato. The dressing that comes with this bowl also has dairy, so I easily swaped for the cilantro- lime. Lastly, you pick your protein. The bowl comes with chicken, but they have two tofu options, I chose the BBQ, and I actually got $1 off for doing that. Win-win. This bowl was massive for only $11. Swipe to see how large!
