Review of Pure Origine at Land&Monkeys by greenp

This Pure Origine cake from Land&Monkey’s reminded me of those layered chocolate cakes I used to have on birthdays before turning vegan, it had been quite a while since I last had something like that.
The layers inside are really enjoyable, with a nice mix of textures and tastes. Not a big fan of the icing though, which I found had a bit of a weird (chemical) lemony aftertaste. Didn’t affect the cake’s taste as a whole, but for that reason I wouldn’t have it again and would rather pick something without icing.
