Rojak is a salad dish of #Javanese origin, and you can find them everywhere in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. Being multiracial and multicultural, it’s common to find different varieties of rojak; you have the Malay style rojak that’s sweet, tangy and spicy with fruits and crisp vegetables; you have the Chinese style #rojak that can be ‘black’ (sweet, savoury and less spicy than the Malay one) and ‘white’ (like the black one but without black sauce OR fruity, relying on pineapples and green apples for sour, tangy flavour); Indian style that consists mainly of dough fritters and veggies and covered in sweet tasting sauce.

This #fruitrojack has nothing like the ones I described above. It’s similar to the fruity Chinese white rojak, but it’s mostly sweet and in various shades of #pink. It does have tangy flavours coming from the green #apples though. The airy pieces of #churros taste like a less dense #churro; the colour doesn’t contribute much to the taste. Not bad to have it as an #appetiser.
