One of the most inventive vegan dishes in Singapore. Forever grateful that Privé made this a permanent dish on their menu. I have reviewed their Hainanese ‘Chicken’ Rice before and perhaps ordered it at least 50 times no cap. Do note that they sell a non-vegan version of this dish, so please do not forget to ask for the vegan version!

The ‘chicken’ is made using Heura chicken chunks while the beancurd skin resembles the chicken skin. It sits in a warm and comforting broth which soaks up into the ‘chicken’ to give it that enriching, succulent and juicy flavour. Served with brown rice, soup and the iconic trio of sauces (dark soya sauce, ginger sauce and chilli sauce). A MUST TRY for every local here who is a fanatic for hawker centre food.
