I am using this platform to describe and review the food I had from my company’s #Dinner & Dance night. Like many high-end #hotels in Singapore, Park Royal #Hotel has a vegetarian food menu for event organisers to choose from for their vegetarian staff. In this case, a (standard) #Chinese #vegetarian menu was selected. It is, of course, #vegan.

I tried liking this dish, but something wasn’t right about it. I’m not too fond of the texture of the #lilybuds; it’s too soft, like a mashed potato; it should have a chewy but slightly crunchy texture.

I think this entire dish is overcooked; everything was soft except for the celery, which retained its #crisp texture and the #macadamia nuts, that’s still #crunchy. It’s as if this dish was made as an afterthought. Sigh.
