Review of Chewy Ginger Cookie at Julia's Joyful Kitchen by louisg

This is the 3rd cookie I’ve had from Julia’s Joyful Kitchen, and the best one so far! 😊 It’s soft and chewy. Ginger has a tendency for being overwhelming, but not in this cookie. You can definitely taste it, but it’s not strong.
I visited Julia’s Joyful Kitchen for the first time yesterday to use a coupon from Toronto’s First Ever Plant-Based Deals Book (https://instagram.com/thisisplantcurious?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=). It’s a little bakery tucked away in a residential neighbourhood in Oakville. Its offerings are 100% vegan; some are gluten-free too.
The ingredients in this cookie are “gluten-free oat flour, almond flour, coconut sugar, coconut oil, unsweetened coconut milk, molasses, pure vanilla extract, ginger, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, sea salt”, according to the bakery’s website.
Also from the bakery’s website, “Julia’s Joyful Kitchen provides nutrient-packed treats full of protein and fibre. All treats are made with natural sweeteners, no fillers and no nonsense!” I love how there’s no nasty ingredients.
I would buy this cookie again! In my excitement, I forgot to take a photo of the cookie after having bit into it. It’s interior looks the same as the exterior.
