Review of kecap manis tempeh gado gado at mallow by jessskh

Mallow is owned by the Mildreds company. It’s located in a great area for food, Borough Market, and has a modern, simple almost minimalistic interior design.

This dish was kecap manis tempeh gado gado, rice noodles, carrot beansprout pickle, and peanut sambal. Kecap manis is Indonesian sweet soy sauce and gado gado is a peanut sauce salad. The rice noodles were at the bottom and a little difficult to pick up without chopsticks lol. The tempeh was great and went well with the sambal sauce. Loved the sesame cracker that came with it.
This dish was £15, I do think it’s a bit pricey for what it was but at the same time, this is quite standard in London.
