Multigrain Loaf by Giant Supermarkettabs's Review (Aug 25, 2021)

Bought this hefty loaf at Giant Tampines Hypermart at $3.90. The hypermart has a pretty large Bakery section that features fresh bakes from their own home brand/kitchen.

Trying this for the first time, and its just barely passable - take it if you trying to settle for any multigrain fresh sourdough. They are very generous on the grains that are heavily peppered throughout.
For a similar price point but for better standardised quality/consistency, probably go for Gardenia’s sourdough range also found on supermarket shelves.

Crust: Awful - heavy, thick, dry & flat (not sure if it gets better if toasted. Tough to slice also. Bad quality 😞

Interior bread texture: pretty high hydration, chewy, easy to tear. I ended up just eating only the insides without the crust.

Flavour: neutral slight saltiness flavour which is good imo for pairing w other foods.
