Review of It’s Not Se-Same Mochi at Well Loft by waisum
Matcha r’ice cream wrapped in a black sesame mochi outer layer, sitting on a bed of adzuki beans, sprinkled kinako powder, drizzled with sweet malty golden syrup.. might have been a bit too much going on at once but I loved the contrasting textures of chewy mochi and cool ice cream! Matcha flavor could be stronger but at least the overall sweetness wasn’t too overpowering. All the classic flavors of Japanese sweets in one yummy dessert, can’t say no to this one!
