Review of Plant-Based Scramble - JUST Egg by simhazel
Before going vegan I was an ovo-vegetarian for the longest time. Always had a lactose intolerance but eggs were in many Chinese recipes its hard to avoid. Cooking this isn't very much of what I've remembered of the real thing. The consistency allows a basic omelette but a scramble? Not so much. Taste-wise I added my own Kala Namak for an eggier taste, or as @xueqi says, "farty" 😶 "The texture is great but the outside hardens after time" was what my sister noted. Bought this at Supernature and it's really expensive, not something I'd have everyday. I bought a couple to R&D some recipes of my own! You can see the next photo I made #musubi - check out the video over on my Instagram. I'm thinking omurice next 🙈 So thrilled that there's going to be a Eat Just factory here soon! Hopefully that means prices go down and become more accessible so less people have to eat the real thing with the cruelty 🥺💕
