Review of Set A Vegetarian Chicken Rice at 33 Vegetarian Food by amazinganne

🍛Mum bought this for me - vegetarian Hainanese "chicken" rice. Don't be fooled that it does not look so good in the take away box. It is actually super yum!
🍛This is possibly the best vegetarian chicken rice I have ever had! The mock chicken is actually curled tau kee or softened bean curd sticks.
🍛 It is the flavours that make this dish stand out. The dark and light soy sauce & sesame oil drizzled over the chicken is super tasty.
🍛 The side broiled vegetables come in a generous serving of gravy too that actually leaked out of the take away box into the bag.
🍛 The rice is fragrant. The achar or pickles have the right sour and spice to freshen the palate. There are a few slices of tomato too.
🍛And of course the chicken rice chillie and grated ginger sauces are perfect.
🍛 Will definitely go there to eat as I see other reviews showing a beautiful plating
