The “chicken” is made of Heura chicken chunks, plated with beancurd skin on vegetable broth, & served with oily brown rice & soup. It comes along with the traditional sweet chilli, soy sauce & garlic sauce.

I have always been contemplating on getting this dish because it looks absolutely real, & the initial reason why i stopped consuming meat was because i hated the taste & looks of it at a young age. But since i was visiting Prive with my mum, i wanted to expose her to more vegan options.

We shared this meal & my mum loved it. She told me she could see herself going vegan some day. This was the greatest news ever because she suffers from breast cancer, & countless numbers of research has proven time and time again that a vegan diet can prevent, and potentially REVERSE both cancer and heart diseases - the 2 most common diseases with the highest death rate.

It just bothers me that you will never see a doctor or general health practitioner advising patients with serious health complications to alter their diets for the best of their health. Instead, they dispense medications with a smile, expecting you to return for more at the expense of gaining additional remuneration.

I can only hope that veganism continues to grow as it always have been these past decades. 8 years ago when i decided to leave meat products behind, there weren’t as many vegan/vegetarian options available in supermarkets or at restaurants. It is incredible to see how far the vegan movement has come in 2020, & i believe it will only get waaayyyyyyy better in the years to come 🌱💚

dourayra sound words! Medicine is nowadays in the business of the sick not the healthy and it's very important that physicians make the shift! Reply
