Ya know, it’s only okay. I agree. But I don’t know of any restaurant that has really great Mac and cheese in so cal, do you? Or am I spoiled because my homemade mac is amazing?

@evolotus haha! I don’t know any yet but I actually really love the Mac n cheese from the hot bar at wholefoods!! If you‘re at wholefoods, you can still get it at the deli counter since the hotbar is closed 

@megplant that might be chef Ayinde Howell’s “mac and yease” with nutritional yeast sauce. He supplies to WF. I hear it’s great but not all stores have it. I’ve never tried it sad emoji. 

But sometimes people say they LOVE the mac at such and such a place and I try it and say well, okay, let’s not trust that person’s opinion again. 

@evolotus lol I totally feel you on that. And I’m pretty sure you’re right with the chef, hopefully if you try it get back to me because I’d love to hear what you think of it! So far it’s my favorite of what I’ve tried so far

My sister really liked it haha, but for some reason the taste of it put me off. Could be just me. It’s made from a cashew cream sauce and the kale tasted really good.
