Review of Toasted chickpea mayo sandwich at Mugg & Bean by sunshineyum

A bit disappointed with the vegan take on the toasted chicken mayo - the sandwich I got tasted like a bunch of cold, hard, canned chickpeas were thrown whole into too little vegan mayo, then slopped onto bread with four little spinach leaves and toasted. It didn't taste good at all, but hopefully this was just a bad one and the usual offering is good.

simonel I didn't enjoy this dish either and had the same issues you had. I have however enjoyed all of Mugg n Beans' other vegan offerings :)Reply
mikejuliette From experience they don't thoroughly mash their chickpeas for more than 15 seconds. There is also meant to be spinach on the sandwich 😜. Personally, good menu item just really bad execution from their staff.Reply
sunshineyum @mikejuliette Yes there was spinach on the sandwich - just too few leaves. :) Tried 2 other branches since and they were much better. Reply
