Review of The Lagniappe Plate at Krimsey's Cajun Kitchen by evolotus

“‘Lan-Yap.’ A hearty plate that includes all your favorite breakfast items. A traditional pancake with dairy-free butter, biscuit with white gravy, veggie sausage slices, homestyle breakfast potatoes, and fresh fruit.” THIS is the weekend brunch dish for when you can’t make up your mind because everything sounds good. My only complaint is the use of Field Roast sausages instead of housemade. Chef Krimsey is well capable of making her own sausage. Hell, I can make a really good seitan sausage *or* gluten-free sausage based on black-eyed peas or pinto beans. So come on, KR, go for it. I’ll show you!
