Review of Matcha Red Bean Pancake at AH LOCK & CO. by sylchew
At first i was quite skeptical about it, thinking that the matcha aroma might not come through. But it proved me wrong! It has a moreish earthy matcha flavor which pairs well with the sweet red bean paste. Pancake is fluffy and QQ, the filling to pancake ratio is just right too. Will definitely get it again! :D

sylchew Yup it is! It is a traditional chinese style pancake usually filled with crushed peanuts or shredded coconut. People these days then come up with innovative flavors like matcha and red bean. It is traditionally called min chiang kueh :)Reply
