The stew came with a bowl of purple rice on the side at $15, with a bit of purple rice porridge at the bottom of the soup, a large piece of ginseng, dates, chestnuts, gingko, goji, shiitake, enoki, and other ingredients. The taste of ginseng wasn’t overpowering, and the dates gave the soup a nice touch of sweetness.
