Let’s Eat Plant-Based Burger Patties do Let’s Eat —Avaliação do Vikas Garg (21 de mai. de 2025)

I really like these! I’ve noticed these in the store recently and have been meaning to try them. Overall the selection of vegan products in Singapore grocery stores has been doing down, but this brand from New Zealand 🇳🇿 seems to be doing well.

The burgers are made with a wheat and pea protein and coated with “pea crumbs” whatever that means. They’re actually a really nice size, could have been a little thicker but overall maybe just right. I popped one in the air fryer for 10 minutes and it was sizzling on the outside and perfectly tender inside.

I tried to dress this up with my take on the photo on the box. It was delicious and I’m already looking forward to the next one. Definitely better than anything similar I’ve had from Quorn but my favorite frozen veggie burgers are still the Plant Living Mushroom & Chestnut Burgers 🍔 which sadly aren’t available anywhere in Singapore anymore. Close second are the burgers from Actual veggies!

I was at a restaurant in milano recently and the owner described how they saved the skins from making soy milk. They would toast them and crumble them and use them as breading. I forget the name. Maybe they do the same thing with peas?

I agree with you Vikas on Plant Living mushroom and chestnut burger. I had it recently (it’s available here in Hong Kong) and I found it excellent. Never tried the one you’re reviewing here though.
