I wanted so much to like this 😅 My mum makes loaf cakes all the time so I pretty much grew up on them. But she refuses to adapt her recipes because "why the hell wouldn't you use butter", so I keep going from bakery to bakery looking for someone who perchance has nailed it 😬 This was promising because the #marblechocolate #swirl was so pretty 😅 But nah, the texture was a bit too moist and the flavour (#chocoholic and buttery dimensions thereof) was just a bit too meek for my liking 😐 I'm known to like strong flavours and very dry/airy cakes though, so maybe someone else might really like this 🥲
