If you stop in Cleveland, the Vegan Doughnut company is a MUST. They absolutely deserve the amazing write ups and press they get in the vegan publications. They have so many unique donuts, and everything is such great quality. I remember when They first started, they would come to the Temple Popups. Sadly, tragedy hit their family, and they took a hiatus. In 2022, the sistets came back strong in a new location in Lakewood.
In January, they always sell the years' best or top rated donuts. This banana cream pie donut was amazing. It literally tasted like banana cream pie. It was so sweet and had crushed 🍪 cookies on top like a banana pudding. The bananas even tasted so fresh, and I love that they don't use a bunch of artificial flavors. The donut was filled with a delicious cream as well. It was super rich and sweet and definitely a knife and fork donut!
