You know what, altogether a better #nasilemak than I had been expecting 🙂 They didn't skimp on the #kacanggoreng and my initial disappointment that they didn't seem to have tried to replicate the #ikanbilis was replaced by pure joy that they in fact were doing a version of it, buried deep in the #sambal just like some interpretations of this #malaysianeats classic! The #veganchicken was alright, #soymeat in a lightly #spicy curry; appreciated the #friedtofu but a measly two pieces, seriously? 🤯
