Air India probably has the best vegan meal I’ve ever had. It actually had flavour! Leave it to India to make airplane food taste really good. The Chana was nice but what I really loved was the cauliflower and pea curry, it was so rich and flavourful, and even a tiny bit spicy! And the dessert, wow! It was unlike anything I’ve tasted before. It had strong notes of cardamom, and the texture was kind of like hay/cotton candy. So yum! Excited for the culinary excellence I’m about to experience in India!

We Indians call it soan papdi. This dessert is mostly vegan. I'm not sure about local shops, but there's an Indian brand named Haldiram's that sells a vegetarian version, which also happens to be accidentally vegan.
Lucky you, when I flew Air India my VGML had dairy yoghurt 😥
