This is the best S$40 I have spent in a while! 🙌 This time, a #vegandiningclub restaurant gone #plantbased for a whole evening for a #secretvegantakeover 🤫

The point of these events are twofold ✌️ Firstly, they prove to restaurants that there is a community and market for #crueltyfree options on their menus — a win for all of us! 🌱 and secondly, they make programs like the #impactchampions possible 👏

The #specialmenu for the night started with an #appetizer trio of Thai #otah with Happiee “Prawniee”, #royal flower #dumplings, and what they dubbed “plant-based chicken #satay with Forever by Shandi” 🐣

Both the #otah and the #vegansatay were just… incredible 🤯 I need this more often!

In between the #starter and the #maincourse was a simple, #spicy, smoked “suba” #fish soup 🍲 and guess what? It actually features #veganfish 🐟

By the time the mains arrived, I was already so stuffed 🤰 I don’t spent this much on dinner often, unless said dinner is drinkable 🍻 but I’m telling you, it’s worth the money! 💰 The main course featured #friedrice with @onlyeg 🍳, some super #santan heavy yellow #curry with broccoli 🥦, baby corn 🌽 and #tofu 🫘 plus some #sweetandsour #veganchicken 🐓 The #olivefriedrice looks plain but it was good 😋 Honestly the only con? I passed out halfway so a waiter came to take away my dish 🤣 @m1tch9i meanwhile decided to #ecotakeout what was left on her plate for #supper 🍽️

Oh, and the reason I was stuffed? The #thaimilktea they served 🧋It was either that or a green #milktea with MILKLAB 🥛 It was #nottoosweet but possibly a little caffeinated 😜

Finally… 🥁 for #dessert 🏜️ we were served #bualoy — rice flour balls filled with #kerisik and cooked in #coconutmilk and sugar 🥥
