#penang #prawnmee - except that true Penang folks call it #hokkienmee 😛 This one was too acidic/sour, and didn't have enough of the umami or the earthiness that you'd expect 😐 It still packed a punch and was decently #spicy, with the #veganprawn offering half-decent texture as #fakemeat (still not chewy enough ☹️), and the #oystermushroom offering a welcome bit of innovation alongside the #kangkong and the #beansprouts 🙂

Decent attempt at a #hawker favourite, but just falls short a bit on quality of execution 🥲
