I’ve been taking more supplements lately… melatonin before bed, a multi-vitamin with breakfast and have been reading about how it’s really hard to get Omegas through a vegan diet and how important they are. So… I finally caved and decided to buy an Omega-3 supplement. @mrsgarg is the supplement fairy in our house so she found this for me on #iherb.
It’s made from #microalgae that’s grown in the US, Canada and Europe outside of the ocean, which means it’s not taking away this precious resource from wildlife. That’s something I can feel good about.
But, I am curious, can anyone tell me how I’m going to notice a difference from taking this? Has anyone else experienced a difference in how they feel afterwards? I feel like so much of taking supplements is a placebo effect, although I do think the melatonin helps me get deeper sleep.

Melatonin definitely helps me fall asleep easier and quicker 💤
I’ve been supplementing various things since before I went vegan and I’ve honestly never been able to tell the difference apart from the fact that we all apparently need it 😅
It's not necessarily that you'll feel a specific difference, but you'll avoid the effects of vitamin/nutrient deficiencies, which can range from mild symptoms to more severe issues. I supplement with a vegan-specific formulation of multivitamin, plus omega 3, B12, vitamin D, calcium, and magnesium.
Specifically with omega 3s though, some people feel it helps with mood, inflammation, and skin
