Review of Chocolate Cake at Pattycake Bakery by arronlee

This cake is decorated nicely and was almost too pretty to eat. I assure you, I overcame that and indeed ate it! The front was a bit smooshed due to the ride home. 😬

This is a layered chocolate cake with a very nicely decorated buttercream icing. It is rich and the icing indeed has a buttery taste. I am able to pick up on the oil in the icing but I believe that is due to vegan butter being an oil based product.

This cake is really good and would make a good cake for celebrations. I imagine amy non-vegan wouldn’t be able to tell the difference with this being a plant-based cake.
