Via Gelato

I was hoping that this would be very similar to the strawberry shortcake gelato cake that I got for my friends birthday, with maybe little pieces of the cake mixed in with the Gelato. There isn’t, so I guess that the shortcake part is just supposed to be the flavor without the actual bits. This is the most expensive pint I’ve ever paid for ice cream, I justified my purchase with the fact that my ice creams normally last quite a while in my freezer and that this flavor is a special that’s ending this month. This is very good though, so I found myself having seconds every time I enjoyed this. It’s not even two weeks yet and I only have one small serving left. I got this with the roasted almonds, toasted coconut, and strawberry sauce, which is housemade with fresh strawberries and very good. I also added some of my own strawberries that I have, along with my own coco whip.
They have a little section in their store where they sell some merchandise too, as shown in one of my photos. 
Parking is a challenge, and I’ve been finding myself parking in places where I shouldn’t, but at least I’ve been placing my orders ahead of time, so pick up has been pretty quick and easy.
This place isn’t entirely vegan, but there are a lot of options, including interesting flavors. I’m looking forward to trying some others someday, but it’s so pricey, that it will have to be a rare occasional splurge.
