🍜🇯🇵Wagamama very generously sent me an email about a month ago saying I could come for a free meal, woo hoo! 🎉 I could choose between this kare burosu ramen, the yasai 🎃🍠🍆🍚katsu, which is my favorite, and a yakisoba. My partner likes noodle soups best and I was thinking the kare burosu was the closest to that. He was grumpy 😠being back at work, so I was trying to boost his morale. The mushrooms 🍄on top were wonderful. The shichimi-coated silken tofu 🫛as well was fabulously deep fried and presented. They went a bit overboard on the red 🌶️chillies which we had to remove. The curried veg broth was already quite spicy without the chillies. My partner loves udon noodles but I far prefer the taste, feel, and texture of normal ramen noodles. Udon is so slippery and heavy and you can get wacked or slapped in the face with it spraying sauce everywhere. I’m very grateful for my free meal here and look forward to going back and getting more side dishes which are their most delicious offerings.
