Salted Almond Butter Magic All One Chocolate do Dr. Bronner's —Avaliação do kyu (1 de jan. de 2024)

These #teamdarkchocolate bars appeared at my neighborhood Grocery Outlet earlier this month, and I have to confess, I went a little crazy. #groceryoutletfinds In a #chocoholic frenzy, I bought a bunch, and in different flavors (they were only $1.29 apiece.) It’s kind of a problem that my cellular data doesn’t work inside the store, because once I got out to the parking lot, I learned that they aren’t FEP-recommended. At the time of posting, this brand is listed as “cannot recommend: working on issues.” It’s a bit cryptic, but I hope this means they’ve been communicative and are making an effort to ensure a socially responsible product sometime soon.

The #chocolate is really good. Sweet, salty, and roasty-nutty is, dare I say, an infallible combination. 70% cacao content is a bit on the low side for my liking, but some of my family members will start to gripe above 80%; this is a good compromise because it has some intensity without being outrightly bitter. The #almond butter is rich and dense, and the sea salt really enhances the whole experience. I gifted a bar to my co-worker, and I believe she really enjoyed it, as well. It’s also #organic.

I won’t repurchase for now (I’m flush with chocolate after the holidays, anyway!) but will continue to keep an eye on Dr. Bronner’s’s status. I hope they’ll eventually be redeemed into the recommended category, because their chocolate is indeed close to magic.

they are such a great company - local to where i live when in california. they were at a vegan food pop-up when the bars were first introduced and very generously gave away full-size bars.
