i’m not sure if this is a common thing, but for how large the box was i was a little surprised at how small the roast was! that being said, it was pretty dense and filling for how little it was. (i usually have the gardein roast, which i feel serves more than this one does.)
the flavor of the roast was enjoyable to me, and it smelled/tasted similar to their deli meats. i did feel like it was a little bit dry and the texture was less realistic than the other roast i’ve had, but that can be fixed with gravy! the filling also escapes while slicing, but i didn’t have an issue with the slicing itself.
overall this wasn’t my favorite roast, but i felt the need to have an authentic and original tofurky experience since it was the original roast!
