Fried mantou buns with a crisp exterior. Served with an Asian-style ragout mainly consisting of diced mushrooms (in lieu of minced meat), sweetcorn kernels, and Chinese celery. 🍞🍄🌽 I think there were also some bits of tomatoes and/or bell peppers too. Umami and deeply flavourful despite not containing alliums! My non-veg sister was initially skeptical of the name and description of this bar bite, but was pleasantly surprised. P.S. They changed their head chef and revamped their menu a few weeks ago, so the popular Eggplant Char Siew Mantou is no longer available.
