Vegan option in Lviv, that is not talked about much, maybe as the place is not 100% vegan. But it’s worth mentioning, especially since there’s not much vegan options in Lviv.
“Old School” is hot dog variation I’m used to since my childhood - with “korean carrot” (koryo-saram spicy carrot salad), ketchup and mustard. What makes it unusual for me (in a good way though) is brioche bun and lettuce.
Not my favorite sausage though - Vega’s classic. I’d love it more if they used Vegetus one. Still was totally enjoyable though!
Decided to take out, as I’m not really drinking and don’t like smell of alcohol. But it’s cider bar actually, so it’s not like a con. Just keep in mind if you don’t like alco.
Vega Old School was 79 hryvnias (about 2$), which makes it one of the cheapest vegan options in this town. Plus it was the only place from those I had on my mind that was neither closed nor out of vegan options by 7:30 pm on Saturday, so yep, thank you for that!
