Fresh, crisp and a great variety of leafy greens 🥬 in this Power to the Greens from Trader Joe's !! A blend of Baby Kale, Baby Red Chard, Baby Spinach, Baby Collard Greens, Baby Mizuna & Frisee. 2 of the greens (Mizuna & Frisee ) I’ve never heard of before.
After looking them up online Mizuna is a nutrient-dense leafy green and is high in vitamins A, C, and K, folate, and iron. It is also a source of B-complex vitamins and essential minerals too!
Frisee is a type of endive lettuce and a single serving contains 30% of the daily recommended intake of folic acid, eyesight-boosting vitamin A, and immune-supporter vitamin C. It's also a fantastic source of dietary fibre, manganese, iron, and potassium.
I’ve been enjoying these greens in salad bowls🥗, wraps🌯 and sandwiches 🥪!!
