Review of Smoky Dragon Roll at Beyond Sushi by iszy
This was my favorite roll of the day! This specialty roll is made up of smoked oyster mushrooms, avocado, cilantro, charred eggplant unagi, seaweed roe, and ponzu glaze. The mushrooms were cooked perfectly and the hint of smokiness really complimented the umami. The ponzu glaze really brought it all together and was so flavorful! I just love something sticky and slightly sweet with my sushi. I'm glad I managed to continue my eggplant streak with this roll.
