I love buying from the bulk bin of grocery stores! Texturized vegetable protein or TVP is an affordable, and nutritious plant-based protein!
It's also delicious. Once rehydrated (I use broth made with bouillon and some mushroom seasoning), you can add any additional seasoning to it. For this meal, I just added some taco seasoning and then 3 minutes on a skillet and my taco filling was ready! It's criminally easy.
