No particular flavour of its own, as is typical for natural tofu. Soft consistency, relatively watery, but that could be because I froze it.

You can buy a tofu press to get the excess water out of the tofu and to let it better absorb marinades. Or put a kitchen towl under and over it and some heavy books on top to press it.
