Another yummy dish from Pinxin. You can’t say you’ve been to Penang when you haven’t had #NasiKandar. There are plenty of restaurants in #Penang selling what is known as a must-try dish in that #Malaysian state, but of course those aren’t veg-friendly.
Generous serving size; we couldn’t finish it 🥺.
The sides are #spicy and super #flavourful. The #monkeyheadmushroom got the right amount of chewiness and acted like a sponge to soak up all of that rich gravy.
They use their own mix of brown rice, it’s fluffy and not too heavy, but it also helps you feel full quicker.
