The Reno Roll at UCHU Sushi is without a doubt my new favorite vegan sushi roll of theirs. 💯
This roll is the one on the left of this picture, with the drizzle on top. It consists of rice, seaweed, avocado, vegan cream cheese, fried in tempura batter, and topped with unagi sauce. The texture was delightfully both crisp and tender. This roll is served vegetarian, but if you request for it to be vegan they will replace the regular cream cheese with dairy-free cream cheese. Out of UCHU’s entire selection of delicious vegan sushi (and it’s a generous selection), I highly recommend this roll!
