I keep forgetting to take a pic of the spread on Taco nights 🌮 BUT at least I remembered to take a pic of the taco box this time 🤷🏻♀️
Definitely a pantry “must-have” for when you’re looking for a fun meal you can throw together with pretty much whatever you have on hand! I always worry they’re going to get broken inside the box, but so far we haven’t had that issue. They’re a great size and perfectly crunchy 👌
As for the fillings/toppings: to keep it #kidapproved I always make sure to cook up a simple lentil bolognaise-type dish, as my kids aren’t into anything even slightly spicy (…except Sweet Chilli Doritos, which my 3yo lovingly refers to as “spicy chips”.. go figure 😂). I also always include rice, corn, chopped up tomato/cucumber/carrots, grated cheez, an array of sauces, and some kind of spicy bean concoction.
The kids (and us grown-ups 😂) enjoy being able to pick and choose whatever they want to eat and getting to eat with their hands. It’s messy and totally more-ish!
