Talk about fusion! This is a 茶漬飯 ("chasuke" according to Google, basically rice mixed with a tea-based soup) made with risotto, which I thought was a pretty genius move - you get the chewy, flavorful risotto but in a less heavy sauce. However this risotto was still really filling and I almost couldn't finish it. The flavors were great though, and the texture was nice especially with vegetable shreds mixed into the rice.
