Review of Sumo Prosperity Healthy Yusheng at Sumo Well by tabs

Ok idk why I never realised this before but salads are like the healthier yummier more refreshing versions of yusheng???

PS. photo features it 1-day-old, post-mixup, post-fridge alrdy, but I daresay it tastes just as good or even better this way & cold 😝

I’m super LOVING this seasonal yusheng option offered by a local salad company because it is so COLOURFUL, so REFRESHING, creamy, sour zesty, SO flavourful (in the best way possible - no artificial saltiness or sweetness. flavours are really just natural goodness coming naturally from ingredients themselves!! 👅 think: umami 🍄, bursts of pomelo juice, sour tart pineapple chunks, lime etc), different textures, crunch and layers. The taste really hits ALL THE RIGHT NOTES (I imagine the sauce are inspired from their other salads which are normally alrdy so yummy)
It is just such an amazing combination of so MANY things -
Elements that made it more CNY I suppose were the crackers, pomelo sacs, pineapples 🍍,
Also had shreds of green apples, almond flakes, avocado, red cabbage, mushrooms, barley(?), carrots, pea sprouts, pickled onions, radish … there are so many I can’t even figure out all the components but it really feels and looks 👀 like such a BOUNTIFUL feast which is perfect for the CNY celebration which is meant to PROSPER you right 🤣 and this truly is just more & more of the GOOD STUFF
But extra loving this cos it’s not only taste good, look good but I feel like I can really keep ON eating it without any digestive after effects or guilt. Like normal yusheng now just feels so one-dimensional in flavour/ textures or just plain plum sweet in comparison to this 😳😳 ohyes, I suppose ordinary yusheng use artificial colours to make the rainbow, but all these again only come from Plant Goodness 🌱 🌈
Really incorporating nature & their many forms gives so so much GOOD VIBES & FLAVOUR & ENJOYMENT & nutrition :’)

Daaaaamn I didn’t know I was a yusheng fan until I tried this one. Highly recommend 💯 and erm, maybe if all yusheng were like this, it should be available & eaten all year round hahaha 🐷❤️

Of course, this being a yusheng, if there are any ingredients you don’t like/want amongst the many, you can just choose to omit any of the components before mixing it up. So super customisable, but also it makes the ‘salad’ so easy to eat cos all the ingredients are nicely prepared alrdy. Really idk concept of yusheng = DIY salad (but w fun of CNY lohei & symbolic meanings) was something I never realized before 😳🤯
