Been coming to Beyond Sushi for a few years and love how frequently they change the menu! Hoping the bao buns will stay as I'm obsessed.
The gua bao is seitan based, and I wasn't sure if I should get it as I've been a bit tired of seitan recently. Ended up praising myself later because I really enjoyed it! Good flavor in the seitan and the creamy sauce on top paired well with it. Excited to try the other baos!
ingredients: braised seitan, fennel, star anise, ginger, agave, smoked pepper sauce, Thai chili, crushed peanuts, cilantro
