If you are in New Zealand I would highly recommend trying a burger from the Burgerfuel chain. They are very vegan friendly with one vegan burger and two vegetarian burgers that can be made vegan. You can download their app and order online to pick up. Their app directs you on what ingredients to swap to make the vegetarian burger vegan. I chose the combustion tofu, they have a large one but I chose the smaller one as I find their burgers are very filling! Great sauces and possibly the best fries in New Zealand. They are quite forward thinking with recyclable packaging and generally a cool vibe.

We had such a dodgy one a few years ago....it made my partner gag (hilarious at the time for me, but I guess I have an evil streak!!), so I'm guessing they've upped their game. We might try again! Thanks for posting.
It was Invercargill and the first (and only!) time we've been. There was a wasabi dressing which might have been off. I might try them again but I think my other half is scarred for life!!!
