
Ragi- This is an extremely nutritious millet, a gluten free staple in South India it helps with weight loss and diabetes, packed with calcium, carbohydrates, amino acids and vitamins- I've always had a deep connection with the crop every summer I used to visit my native and great grandpa would cook us ( me and the brother) up some amazing ragi porridge/ sweet ragi liquid(soup like consistency, but sweet)and that's one of the best memories I'll have with my great grand dad - sipping on ragi early in the morning, sitting next to him and talking- I miss him sometimes , I hope we find a way out of this pandemic and strive to live healthier and more sustainably
