incredibly ingenious. to concoct an extremely meaty appetizer out of soy & sweet chili is one thing, to have it enveloped around a stick of SUGAR CANE is strikingly mind-blowing. whoever came up with this alternative to exploited animal bones & flesh deserves chef applauses. so yes, the plant meat was good but the use of that sugar cane was brilliant. thickly marinated & tasted so, so juicy.
