The Wagamama #coconut #kare came in at £14. This was my husbands main but I had to have a little taste 🤭 With this dish, you get tender stem broccoli, fine beans, and squash over rice with Asian slaw and pea shoots. To me, the sauce was very much like Red Thai curry. It was so good! Husband absolutely approved and enjoyed every bite. #coconutkare #chicken #maindish #wagamama

This starter of #yuzu chicken from Wagamama is pricy at £9.50 a plate but OMG, try it. It’s AMAZING!!! Absolutely the best thing I’ve had from Waga, and there is competition. The “chicken” is so nicely coated and fried, then the sauce coating is just perfection. It reminds me of the best orange chicken I had as a kid and have never really had since. So. GOOD!!!!! You don’t even need the dip but it is an ok dip. I just wanted the chicken on its own though. Husband and I got a plate each when we went today (pics from his birthday since I forgot to take one of the starter today). Omg. This #wagamama #yasai #katsu curry is amazing. For £13.70 you get three slices of vegetables in panko and fried over a large portion of sticky rice and smothered in Katsu sauce. You get slices of sweet potato, aubergine, and butternut squash in the panko. The #aubergine steals the show by miles. Absolutely perfection. I feel like you get too much rice in this dish. I’d rather have less rice and one more slice (or more…) of aubergine. But still yummy. So good. The side salad to the dish is so good. The dressing is sweet and perfect for the lettuce. I would buy this all of the time if they sold it in stores. This has taken over as my favorite main from Waga. #curry #wagamamabirmingham #maindish #asian #dinner

Wagamama has really got my attention lately. This little bowl of pickles was overpriced at £3 but deeeelicious. You get a very small selection of pickled vegetables including radish, cucumber, aubergine, and turnip. They are absolutely yummy but I feel a little so-so on quantity. A new dish on the menu and I hope this stays! A great vegan option as it’s not a ‘fake meat’ dish like ribs and still looks like mushroom. Had a great crunchy texture and meaty flavour - the chilli and slightly sweet sauce balance it out and overall make it one of the best things on the menu at the moment. Big portion as well for a side - Recommend this big time! 👌🏻

Love these ribs and are my go to at Wagamama - lovely and soft with a nice texture. Will say if you aren’t a fan of meaty textures or fake meat maybe give it a miss as it does have a meaty texture and taste but isn’t something I mind personally. Having them as a takeaway was just as good as in store, could have been a bit crispier but overall a great vegan option 👌🏻
