This #homemade #kimchi looks a bit dry in the photo, but it was actually really juicy and flavourful, and some of the spiciest #vegankimchi I’ve ever had! It contained the usual cabbage, but also some carrot and onion too., and was a sharing dish to have with the rest of the meal. #veganbrighton

These perfectly cooked #greenbeans were topped with a very salty and mildly spicy tomato sauce and sesame - quite a simple dish but surprisingly delicious and filling. Maybe a bit pricey for £5 though! #veganbrighton #greenbean

I’ve never had anything like these! The pieces of corn on the cob were bursting with flavours and very juicy and moreish, topped with delicious #srirachamayo, parsley and paprika. They are cooked long enough they you can eat the ‘cob’ part too, and they weren’t too filling or greasy at all. #veganbrighton #cornonthecob #cornribblets #corn

These #tofu pieces were on the ‘to share’ part of the menu. The tofu was very dense and chewy which I liked, and covered with a flavoured, crunchy batter. However, the best part was the sweet, sticky sauce they came drizzled with 😋 #veganbrighton #friedtofu

Best. #bao. I. Have. Ever. Had! It was s t u f f e d with fillings, which were all incredibly delicious and went together so well. The #mushroom #bulgogi is a great idea, and it did have quite a meaty texture, but my favourite parts were the sweet and sticky sauce it was cooked with, which had the tastiest, warmest flavour, and also the #miso #mayo. I enjoyed the crunchy shallots which contrasted and enhanced the lightness and fluffiness of the steamed dough. Despite only getting one #baobun for £7, there was quite a lot of food and more than enough to share. #veganbrighton #veganbao #veganbaobuns

Wow, what a treat! I have been having a lot of #baobuns recently (I could eat them every day), but I was amazed by the imaginative flavour combinations and textures of this #bao! My favourite part was the generous drizzle of #srirachamayo which was sweet and creamy, and brought all the other flavours together. I also loved the little shreds of pineapple pickle, and the crunchiness of the #panko squash. The steamed dough of the #baobun was top notch. I was a little disappointed only to get one bun for £7, but it was pretty huge and surprisingly easy to halve and share. #veganbrighton #veganbao #veganbaobuns
