One of the many amazing things about Patty Cake Bakery in Columbus is its constant support for the #LGBTQ community as well as other marginalized individuals. They are an incredible place to support and they are a co-op female-owned business that supports fair pay and employment! Yesterday they had a large fundraiser for Trans Ohio where they donated 100 HUNDRED 💯 percent of their profits to the cause. This was so incredibly selfless and amazing. They had so many delicious #vegan pride themed baked goods including these cookie! They have the BEST iced cutouts. It's a family tradition to get our birthday cakes at PattyCake Bakery, so of course, Ollie needs a birthday cake! I love their custom #vegan cakes because they have so many flavors and even deluxe flavors to choose from. There are so many awesome flavor combinations you can make. This time, I opted for a classic flavor, caramel, and classic hazelnut icing flavor. The deluxe flavors are a bit more pricey. I absolutely love their cakes. Everything about them is always perfection. I opted for a fall theme so the green, brown and orange colors were great. This serves 8-10 people and was about $54. Another beautiful #zodiac cake! I also purchased a slice of this to take home and it was DELICIOUS. This was the last few days for this flavor, so I’m really glad I tried it. It had a lemon #cake with #coconut icing "golden mylk." It was both beautiful and delicious. I really enjoyed the flavor combination and wouldn't have thought to ever order a custom cake in the flavors, but I definitely want have this again. It's the perfect late summer vibe. I love their cakes and how spongey yet dense. They have been a staple in Columbus for so many years and they were the first and original vegan bakery. I love Pattycake's zodiac flavors. I also LOVE that you can purchase #cake by the slice. 🍰I was doing a small photoshoot for them and, of course, had to purchase treats to take home. This Virgo cake was delicious and has all my favorite flavors. The cake itself is a delicious #maple 🍁 flavor, and the icing has vanilla bean and a spice drizzle. It's also the perfect cake heading into fall. It's so warm and cozy. They're always so beautifully decorated as well and they always use such a pretty accent color. This was only $4, for a large double layer slice. Pictured on the right. These #chocolatechipcookies were very dense, but soft. They have the perfect ratio of #chocolatechips to cookie. #glutenfree and #vegan. I didn't purchase them myself to know how they were priced, unfortunately. Pictured on the left. A #chocolatechipcookie bar with surprise #cherries baked in! This was a unique #sweettreat and I really enjoyed it. The #cherry flavor didn't permeate the cookie and there weren't a ton of cherry pieces throughout, but when you did come across one, it provided a nice flavor and texture differential as well as a bright sweetness. This is a unique take on the traditional sticky bun. This is definitely an out of the box idea. I will also say that I like it… The flavor of this unique breakfast….or snack…or dinner…sticky bun is a dove flavor that I can’t quite describe. It is a sweet spice taste but now overly done to where it is too sweet. The flavors all come together that gives your taste buns a slight tingly flavor. On todays trip to the bakery, I was making some cookie selections and ordered a chocolate chip cookie. The person helping me asked if I wanted a regular chocolate chip cookie or one with walnuts. At first I said regular since I am not one to be fond of walnuts in cookies. But since this is an item I had not previously had from Pattycake Bakery before, thought I would expand my horizons…and I am glad I did. The person at the counter said the walnuts had a “buttery” taste. And she is absolutely right. That is the perfect description of the nutty flavor in this cookie. The walnut flavor wasn’t overpowering like in other cookies I had.
