#panerabread #mediterraneanbowl #veganmediterraneanbowl Through Grub Hub, I ordered a veganized Mediterranean Bowl salad from Panera Bread. It contained cilantro, lime, brown rice and quinoa, arugula, grape tomatoes, Kalamata olives, cucumbers, hummus, and lemon tahini dressing. I asked for the feta cheese and Greek yogurt to be excluded / held (my customized veganized order). It was absolutely delicious and fresh, as are most (all?) things from Panera Bread. I love how are their food is prepared to order. Although I’ve been vegan for 6 1/2 years, I always feel extra better when having a whole foods meals. There was nothing processed in this salad. This meal was food made from / with food. The salad was delivered in a paper-based bowl with a clear plastic lid. I recycled both pieces. The salad was $10.89(decent value , I thought) and had 500 calories, according to Panera Bread’s website (https://www.panerabread.com/en-us/menu/products/mediterranean-bowl.html). Presumably the calorie count includes the feta and Greek yogurt I opted not to have. I would definitely get this again.
