Part of a new plant based range of menu offerings from chef Mokgadi Itsweng, this soup is delicious - great texture, very comforting, yet light. Unfortunately, the mere 200ml of soup (that is served in a deceptively large bowl airside at CT International Airport) works only as a starter and not a main. At 🏷R94 a 🥣 via UberEats, it is quite overpriced, but it is only R79 in store. I expected the rosti to be crispy for some reason but they were more like flatbread? with a weird texture of bits in them. i think the menu description said pickled cherry tomatoes but these were just lightly fried. overall very bland and disappointing. do not recommend

A decent plate of chips. It was not soggy and soaked in oil like a lot of chips can be which was a huge plus in my books.

This is nice. The chickpea and mayo is tasty, and the garnish does elevate the dish. But I have made better at home numerous times and for cheaper. Though as a convenience meal at an airport, this works.

Not my favourite to be honest. I expected the rosti to be more potato like, but this was very flapjack like for a lack of a better word. It was also kind of flavourless, and I could not really taste much of the pea pesto. The fresh and crunchy garnish did save it a bit.

Very tasty dish. Crunchy batter and generously added sauce that is thick, sweet, sour, and gingery. Now that Mugg and Bean has more vegan options, I might actually go here while in Durban to get this amongst other things.
